Labour law is for the benefit and welfare of the employees. Under Labour law, the various bodies are accommodated such as employment, remuneration, conditions of the work, trade unions and industrial relations. Collective labour law related to the relationship between employee, employer, and union. Individual labour law concerns employee’s right at work through contract.
Labour law is meant to help the employees of the organisation. If employee is facing any problem in the organisation and have no say in front of authority then, he/she can take the help of the labour law. Through this law particular action can be taken to help the labour of the organisation.
The Indian Labour law wants to ensure a protection for workers. India’s labour law makes a distinction between people who work in organised sectors and people who are working in unorganised sectors. The law list is different for different industrial sectors to which various labour rights are applied. People who do not fall within these sectors the ordinary law of contract applies.
